This neat little phrase is cropping up more and more, and it describes a phenomenon we are all familiar with. Ever get that neat little package in the mail from your favorite charity, with that shocking picture of the emaciated child on the front cover? Your internal reaction is mixed.. you want to give, but you also feel just a wee bit manipulated. And there are even larger issues below that one.
