Wikiklesia – Voices of the Virtual World
This first Wikiklesia book is entitled Voices of the Virtual World: Participative Technology and the Ecclesial Revolution. Since I have some editorial privilege I contributed both a chapter and the Afterword. My chapter is titled, “Symbol, Sacrament, Narrative and Conversation” and the Afterword is titled, “The Myths of Technos and God’s Kingdom.” I was honored to participate in this project with a host of terrific thinkers and practitioners, many of whose names and passion for God and His kingdom are well known. (The project might have stalled if not for the hard work of Peggy Brown.)
A press release is available and notices of the project are popping up all over the place including the Emergent Village blog. “Wikiklesia may be the world’s first self-perpetuating nomadic business model.†Of course, it’s much more than that and I expect to see many if not most of the chapters cited this next year.
Later this week part of my chapter contribution will appear here. I’m not sure if I will excerpt from the Afterword separately or not.. maybe I’ll rely on the thoughts of others for that decision. Remember — all proceeds go to charity to the Not For Sale campaign, so don’t hesitate to buy your copy.

I thought i read that none of the contributors were releasing their chapters online,so that people would buy it..?
